4 Ways to Apply and Use Our Organic Rosehip Seed Facial Oil

Our organic Rosehip Seed Oil is the perfect solution for those of us who are looking for a quick and simple facial skincare regime. Hydrating, nourishing and rejuvenating the oil is suitable for all skin-types. Don’t be put off by the ‘oil’ part, Rosehip Oil is a ‘dry oil’ and is quickly-absorbed by the skin leaving it feeling smooth and moisturised.

Our Rosehip Facial Oil can be used twice a day morning and evening. Simply apply to a cleansed face and away you go!

Here are our favourite ways to use and apply Lesotho Rose’s Organic Rosehip Oil:

1. Directly to your face
Our facial oil comes with a glass pipette making it easy to apply. Simply squeeze a couple of drops onto your fingertips and then softly massage into your face being careful around your delicate eye area. Some may find it easier to squeeze the oil onto the back of your other hand first and then apply using your fingertips. This helps you to target certain areas on you face, more easily I think. Any excess oil simply rub into your hands and give them a bit of a treat!

Perfect as a base before you apply makeup or if you are applying a face moisturiser too.

2. Add to your moisturiser, mix and then apply to your face.

Worried about over squeezing the oil from the pipette and wasting valuable droplets? Why not add a couple of drops to your face moisturiser, mix and then use your moisturiser as you normally would. You will still get the same great nourishing benefits from the oil!

3. Use on other areas of your body

For an added touch of extravagance use our Rosehip Oil to hydrate and nourish your skin all over your body. The high content of Essential Fatty Acids and Vitamins in Rosehip Oil reportedly helps combat cellulite and reduces the appearances of scars and stretch marks!

4. Be indulgent and add to your bath

Bathe like Cleopatra and add a couple of drops to your bath for a regal soak. Be sure to whirl the oil around to disperse whilst the water is running and then lie back, relax and feel the oil silkily glide over and soak into your skin. CAUTION (We don’t want any mishaps in the bath): The oil can make the bottom of the bath slippery so be careful/mindful when getting out and ensure you rinse out the bathtub so it's not slippery for the next bather!
